| Obverse description | The royal emblem of Bhutan is set within a circular guilloche medallion at centre, flanked by two inward-facing druk (thunder dragons) rendered in multicolour intaglio against a fine cloud-pattern underprint. Denomination numerals appear in white on dark panels at lower left and right, with Dzongkha script legends along the upper and lower margins. The issuer inscription "Bank of Bhutan" is placed below the central emblem, accompanied by a manuscript signature. |
