Obverse description The obverse features the elaborately interlaced royal cypher of King Frederik VIII of Denmark, composed of the letters F and VIII, rendered in a decorative cursive style with sweeping foliate flourishes. The monogram dominates the central field and is surmounted by the Danish royal crown, depicted with fleurs-de-lis and orbs in fine detail. A beaded border runs along the coin's rim. The engraver's initials GJ (Gunnar Jensen) appear in small characters at the lower right of the field. The design is executed in a refined, neoclassical style characteristic of early twentieth-century Danish coinage.

Reverse description The reverse presents the denomination numeral '2' in a large, ornate typeface at the center of the field, with the word 'ØRE' inscribed beneath it in smaller letters, the whole enclosed within a beaded inner circle with decorative bracket-like ornaments. The circular legend 'KONGERIGET DANMARK' runs along the upper periphery, interrupted by small rosette stops, while the date and mint officials' initials appear at the lower margin. A beaded border frames the entire design along the rim. The overall layout is bold and legible, consistent with the utilitarian yet elegant aesthetic of Danish bronze coinage of the period.
