| Obverse description | Plain white note with black letterpress text throughout. The upper portion bears the issuer name PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK and the legend EMERGENCY CIRCULATING NOTE OF 1941, with the denomination TWO PESOS in large bold type at centre. The numeral 2 appears in each corner, with SERIES OF 1941 noted at upper right. At lower right, a circular seal of the Philippine National Bank is printed in reddish-brown ink.
