| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in orange-red and black on white paper. At left, a black intaglio vignette shows a seated allegorical female figure with a globe at her side, rendered in fine engraved detail. The upper centre bears the bank title EL BANCO INDUSTRIAL / CARTAGENA – COLOMBIA in bold letterpress, with the denomination DOS PESOS / ORO LEGAL below in ornate lettering; a large red guilloche numeral 2 appears at right. The note body carries a cedula hipotecaria text block in Spanish referencing the Law of 24 May 1905 and the government contract of 18 May 1918, with spaces for date and three manuscript signatures at the foot (El Presidente, El Gerente, El Secretario), series and serial number printed in blue. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed entirely in orange-red on white paper. The central panel is enclosed within an ornamental guilloche border and contains a detailed Spanish text block reproducing the contract concluded between the Gobierno Nacional and the Banco Industrial on 18 May 1918 and citing Ley 24 de 1905 (17 de Abril), Art. 1°. At left, a decorative panel states the annual interest rate of four per cent (4%) payable on 30 November each year; at right, a corresponding panel notes that the cédula is redeemable by annual draws over ten years. Large red numeral 2 corner devices appear at each corner. |
