| Obverse description | Central design features the seal of the Second Philippine Republic, consisting of a triangle inscribed with a radiant sun at its centre, encircled by the legend REPUBLIKA NG PILIPINAS. The words KAPAYAPAAN, KALAYAAN, and KATARUNGAN are inscribed along the three sides of the triangle. The date 1943 appears in the exergue below the central device.
