| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of Chiloé Island, depicting a crowned oval shield bearing a terrestrial globe flanked by two columns, set above stylized waves, and surrounded by five stars. The shield is encircled by an ornamental wreath of olive branches with cannon barrels at the sides. The legend ISLA DE CHILOÉ arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination numeral 2 appears below the shield and the word POUNDS is inscribed along the lower rim within a decorative cartouche. |

| Additional information |
Chiloé never actually issued its own coinage. The archipelago declared independence from Spain in 1826 — the last royalist holdout in South America — and was absorbed into Chile shortly after. This piece is a modern fantasy issue with no historical monetary authority behind it, produced for the collector market under the fictional premise of a Chilote currency that never existed.
