Obverse description Draped laureate bust of King Fernando VII facing right, rendered in the armored portrait style characteristic of early nineteenth-century Spanish colonial coinage. The king's hair is tied at the nape with a ribbon, and fine detail is visible in the truncation of the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads FERDIND • VII • DEI • GRATIA •, with the mint date 1810 positioned in the lower exergual area between two pellets. A fine toothed border frames the entire design.
Obverse script Latin
Obverse lettering FERDIND • VII • DEI • GRATIA • 1810 •
