Obverse description Crowned quartered shield of Castile and León at center, displaying alternating castles and lions within a bold cross pattée dividing the field into four quarters. The crowned shield is surrounded by an ornate tressure border with rope-like cable pattern. Partial Latin legend visible along the periphery, partially obscured by the irregular cob flan. The coin bears a drilled hole at the upper portion of the flan, consistent with former use as a pendant or jewelry piece.
