| Obverse description | The centre of the coin features a raised relief of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus. Encircling the emblem, a stylised national ornamental band runs between the upper legend БЕЛАРУСЬ and the lower denomination inscription 2 РУБЛІ. The design is executed in bimetallic format, with the emblem appearing in the copper-nickel plated steel centre and the surrounding ornamental and textual elements set against the brass plated steel ring. |

Belarus introduced this tow truck issue as part of its long-running "Vehicles" circulation bimetallic series, which has methodically worked through Soviet-era and domestic transport subjects since the early 2000s. The National Bank has used the series partly as a tool for encouraging coin use in a country where cash transactions have historically trended toward banknotes and, increasingly, card payments.
