Obverse description Central field features the Shah dynasty trident emblem within a beaded inner circle, flanked by two wheat ears forming a wreath motif. Devanagari legend reading 'SHREE BHAWANI' arcs across the upper portion of the coin. The denomination '2 RUPEES' and the country name 'NEPAL' are inscribed in Devanagari script in the lower central field. An FAO-related legend in Devanagari, referencing food necessity, encircles the lower portion between the inner beaded circle and the outer dotted border. The overall design varies slightly in obverse square size, and the reverse sun may appear with or without a central dot.
