Obverse description At center, a square frame contains a trident symbol within a circle. The four corners of the square are adorned with Hindu religious symbols arranged clockwise from the top left: Chakra (wheel), Shankha (conch), Gada (mace), and Padma (lotus). Above the square, a crescent moon flanks the auspicious Sri symbol (श्री) and a sun motif. The king's name in Devanagari script arcs along the upper border of the square, while the Nepali Sambat date appears below the square. A beaded inner border frames the entire design.
