| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by an intaglio vignette of an African fish eagle perched on a branch at right, rendered in brown tones against a multicolour guilloche underprint. At upper centre, the bank title 'BANK OF ZAMBIA' is printed in large serif lettering, with the denomination 'TWENTY THOUSAND KWACHA' in bold intaglio at centre.
