| Obverse description | Blue letterpress print on plain paper with red serial number at upper right. The face carries bold denomination text 'VEINTE CENTAVOS' across the upper portion, with a large blue guilloche underprint reading '20 CENTAVOS' spanning the centre field. Two manuscript signatures appear across the lower half, below several lines of legal-tender text citing the Decree of 12 October 1894. At the foot, a commemorative legend honours the 402nd anniversary of Columbus's discovery of America, with the printer's imprint 'Lit. Nacional' at lower left. |
