| Obverse description | Brown intaglio print on a light guilloche underprint with multicolour security rosette at centre. A three-quarter portrait vignette of Comandante Germán Pomares Ordóñez in military dress and hat occupies the right field, identified by caption below. A large numeral '20' within an oval guilloche medallion anchors the centre, with the denomination legend 'VEINTE CORDOBAS' in a solid panel beneath.
