Obverse description The obverse is dominated by the large vignette of Kaieteur Falls at right, with the label "KAIETEUR FALLS" printed below it. At centre-left, the national coat of arms of Guyana is set within a guilloche underprint bearing the bank name "BANK OF GUYANA". Two signature lines for the Governor and Vice President, Economic Planning and Finance appear beneath the coat of arms. Denomination numerals "$20" appear in the upper left and upper right corners, with the full value "TWENTY DOLLARS" in bold lettering across the upper centre.
