Obverse description Central vignette of the national arms, flanked by decorative traditional motifs and a stylised tribal figure to the right; the Solomon Islands flag appears to the left within a guilloche underprint. The serial number is printed twice, in black at left and in red vertically at right. Two facsimile signatures appear below the arms, captioned 'Governor' and 'Secretary, Finance', with the legal tender legend 'THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR TWENTY DOLLARS IN SOLOMON ISLANDS' above. A lower border panel carries an intaglio vignette of two stylised swordfish.
