Slowjamastan is a micronation declared in 2021 in the California desert by radio personality Randy "R-Dub!" Williams. The Duble is its official currency, and these notes are novelty issues — collectible by design, never intended for any transactional use. The micronation has an estimated population in the single digits of permanent residents, which puts the entire concept of a circulating currency firmly in the realm of performance art.
