Obverse description Central field bears the Slovak national coat of arms — a pointed shield displaying the patriarchal double-barred cross rising from a three-peaked mountain — flanked on either side by decorative leafy linden branches forming a partial wreath. The circular legend SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs around the upper periphery, while the four-digit date is inscribed at the bottom of the field, flanked by two small dots. The design, engraved by Andrej Peter, presents the heraldic motifs in a clean, sculptural relief against a flat field.
