| Obverse description | Printed in brown on cream paper using a woodcut-style letterpress technique, the obverse is enclosed within a decorative foliate and geometric border with additional vignette ornaments in the left margin. A full-length figure of a Tyrolean man in traditional Alpine costume, staff in hand, stands at the right of the central text panel, which carries the denomination and issuer name in Gothic blackletter script with a small edelweiss ornament at its foot. The designer's name 'Fritz Dürnberger' and the printer's imprint appear in the lower margin. |
