| Obverse description | Vertically oriented note with a multi-ruled rectangular border enclosing dense Ottoman calligraphic inscriptions arranged in horizontal panels throughout the design. At the top, a large radiant sunburst vignette surrounds a central oval reserve, below which a crescent-shaped cartouche bears the principal denomination text in ornate Ottoman script. Further panels contain the issuing authority legend and value inscriptions within elaborate floral guilloche cartouches, with marginal inscriptions running along all four borders. |
