| Obverse description | At right, an intaglio portrait of the legendary Turkmen epic hero Görogly Beg Türkmen is set against a fine guilloche underprint in purple and green tones, with his name inscribed in small lettering above the portrait. The national coat of arms, rendered in multicolour intaglio within a star-shaped frame, occupies the centre-left field, accompanied by a green holographic foil map of Turkmenistan and a coloured rendering of the country's administrative regions.
