| Obverse description | Plain cream paper note with a fine rectangular border composed of a delicate chain-link guilloche frame. At centre-top, a circular official seal of the Provincia de Buenos Aires is impressed, flanked to the right by a black wax seal; the serial number and manuscript date appear in the upper corners. The main text body carries the denomination in large letterpress type and a clause declaring the notes acceptable at the Customs house for maritime and land imports, with two handwritten signatures below and the printer imprint at foot. |
