Obverse description Red-orange emergency circulating note with a central vignette of General Douglas MacArthur at left, identified by name below. The central text panel bears the promise to pay legend and denomination in words, flanked by serial numbers 280840 at upper left and right. Three manuscript signatures appear along the lower margin, attributed respectively to the Provincial Auditor (Member), Acting Manager P.N.B. Iloilo (Chairman), and Provincial Fiscal (Member) of the Iloilo Currency Committee. A circular date stamp reading 'Iloilo City, Dec. 30, 1942' is impressed at right.
