Obverse description Black letterpress print on yellow underprint with red and blue serial numbers. At left, a laureate bust of Benito Juárez is flanked by a topless allegorical female figure bearing a sword; at right, a bust of Francisco I. Madero is set within an oak wreath. The overall layout is symmetrical, with the denomination and issuing authority inscriptions centered between the two portrait vignettes.
