| Reverse description | The reverse presents the emblem of the Heroico Colegio Militar at centre, depicting crossed cannons overlaid with a torch and radiating arrows, flanked by a drum on the right, all rendered in the darker copper-nickel centre field. Small military vignettes — including armed soldiers and weapons — are distributed around the lower portion of the aluminium bronze outer ring, evoking the academy's martial heritage. The mint mark Mo appears to the upper right of the central device, with the motto POR EL HONOR DE MÉXICO inscribed vertically along the left side of the inner field.
