Obverse description Central intaglio vignette of Mt. Mayon volcano with palm trees in the foreground, set against a tan and dark guilloche underprint, with the large legend PHILIPPINES arching across the upper field. Two serial numbers appear in blue at left and right, with a blue Commonwealth of the Philippines seal at lower right, and two manuscript signatures below the vignette at left. Victory Series No. 66 overprint appears at upper left and lower right.

Reverse description Orange-tan letterpress design with a central guilloche medallion incorporating the Philippine coat of arms, surrounded by elaborate scroll-work border. A bold black overprint of VICTORY spans the centre of the note, with CENTRAL BANK and OF THE PHILIPPINES printed in red above and below respectively. Denomination numerals 20 appear in each corner, and TWENTY PESOS is lettered in the bottom panel.
