| Reverse description | The copper-nickel centre features a composite commemorative design within a triangular emblem representing the Plan Marina disaster-response programme: at left, the silhouette of a naval relief worker accompanied by a search-and-rescue dog; at centre, a military helicopter in flight; at lower centre, a naval vessel rendered in silhouette along the horizon line. The large numeral '50' with the inscription 'años' appears prominently at centre, denoting the fiftieth anniversary. The mint mark 'Mo' is positioned to the lower right of the centre disc. The brass outer ring carries the legend PLAN MARINA arcing along the upper periphery, the founding and commemorative dates 1966 and 2016 flanking the centre at mid-field, and the face value $20 inscribed along the lower arc. |
