Comments

Perum Peruri's involvement with Nepalese banknote production is a somewhat unusual pairing — the Indonesian state printer, based in Karawang, West Java, is better known for handling Indonesia's own currency — but Nepal has used multiple overseas printers across its modern note series, and Peruri secured contracts for several denominations. The 20 Rupee notes spanning this period carry two different governor signatures, reflecting the changeover from Krishna Bahadur Manandhar to Yuva Raj Khatiwada in 2010, which means signature variety is the primary distinguishing factor between otherwise identical notes within the Pick 62 series.
