| Obverse description | Central round perforation surrounded by concentric raised rings forming an inner border. Radiating from the central hole, a stylized floral or solar rosette motif fills the field, composed of scrolling foliate elements, curved petals, and raised pellets arranged in rotational symmetry. The design is executed in low relief with a broadly cast, textured surface. An outer raised rim borders the entire composition, enclosing the decorative field. No inscriptions or legends are present. |

The Khmer monetary system remains poorly understood, and tin-lead pieces attributed to the empire are among the least documented coinages in Southeast Asian numismatics. Many scholars debate whether such objects functioned as currency at all, or served ritual and metrological purposes within palace and temple economies — Angkor's administrative records offer no clear resolution.
