| Obverse description | Printed in blue-violet intaglio on white cotton paper, the obverse is framed by an elaborate guilloche border with ornamental corner rosettes and classical column motifs at the sides. A right-facing portrait vignette of a young woman in traditional Polish dress occupies the right half of the design, set against fine engine-turned lathe work, while the Polish state eagle appears in the centre-left below the denomination legend.
