Obverse description Predominantly violet on a multicolour underprint, the obverse centres on the national Coat of Arms of Oman — crossed khanjar and swords — rendered in intaglio within an elaborate guilloche frame. Arabic inscriptions naming the Central Bank of Oman and the denomination مائتا بيسة appear above and below the vignette respectively, with the serial number printed twice in Arabic-Indic numerals. Ornate floral corner motifs and a fine latticework border complete the design.
