| Obverse description | The right half of the obverse carries an intaglio-printed vignette with portrait busts of three Guatemalan composers — Germán Alcántara, Mariano Valverde, and Sebastián Hurtado — set against a multicolour guilloche underprint with red and teal tones. The denomination Q200 and the legend DOSCIENTOS QUETZALES appear in bold intaglio to the left of the portraits, accompanied by two signature lines for the Presidente and Gerente General of the Banco de Guatemala. The left portion of the note bears a quetzal bird motif alongside the coat of arms of Guatemala on a light blue security background. |
