| Obverse description | Central field features the colored national emblem of Qatar, depicting two crossed scimitars with a dhow under sail on stylized waves flanked by a palm-studded island, all within a circular frame. The emblem is encircled by a bicolor annular band divided horizontally: the upper white segment bears the Arabic legend 'دولة قطر' in black Kufic script, while the lower maroon segment bears the English legend 'State of Qatar' in white script. Above the central design, the commemorative Arabic and English inscription marking the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Central Municipal Council appears as the principal legend. The denomination 'QR200' is inscribed at the bottom of the coin. |
