The Híd Numizmatikai és Kulturális Közhasznú Egyesület — "Bridge Numismatic and Cultural Public Benefit Association" — is one of several Hungarian collector organizations that have issued their own fantasy or souvenir paper notes intended purely for the hobbyist market. These carry no legal tender status and are issued outside the Magyar Nemzeti Bank's authority entirely. The 2000 forint denomination mirrors a real MNB denomination, which likely explains part of the appeal for collectors building thematic sets.

Printed in Budapest by the issuing association's own arrangement, not by any state security printer.
