Reverse description The denomination '貳仟圓' (Two Thousand Yuan) rendered in large, bold Chinese characters occupies the center of the field. Encircling the denomination is an ornamental wreath of plum blossom branches, the national flower of the Republic of China, depicted with open blossoms and round buds in varying stages of bloom. The branch terminates at the base in a naturalistic, gnarled curl, with additional buds and blossoms completing the encircling motif. The composition is set against a smooth, unadorned field.
