| Obverse description | Against a black enameled field, a finely detailed depiction of Pha That Luang, the great gilded stupa and national monument of Laos, rendered in high relief with its characteristic tiered spire and surrounding cloister walls occupying the central and lower portions of the coin. The legend 'BANK OF THE LAO PDR' arcs along the upper border in Latin characters, while 'Ag 925' appears vertically on the left field indicating the silver fineness.
