Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a central rectangular panel bearing the denomination in five languages within a guilloche frame, the Hungarian title HUSZONÖTEZER KORONA set in an ornamental cartouche at centre. The surrounding border repeats the geometric guilloche pattern in blue-grey intaglio printing consistent with the obverse, with the numeral 25000 in each corner. Comments

Hungary's postwar inflation ran hard through the early 1920s, forcing the Ministry of Finance — rather than the central bank — to issue currency directly, a structural irregularity that reflected just how compromised the country's monetary institutions were after Trianon. The 25,000 Korona denomination would have seemed extraordinary before the war; by 1922 it was routine spending money.

Orell Füssli's involvement is notable. The Zurich firm handled several Hungarian emergency issues of this period, a practical choice when domestic printing capacity was strained and international credibility for the paper mattered.
