| Reverse description | The reverse presents a bold high-relief portrait bust of Chinggis Khan facing slightly left, depicted wearing a traditional Mongolian cap and robes with a full moustache and beard rendered in finely detailed relief. To the right of the portrait, a vertical inscription in Traditional Mongolian script identifies the subject. At lower left, the Latin legend 'CHINGGIS KHAN' arcs along the inner border, with the regnal dates '1162–1227' continuing along the lower right arc. The small Mexican Mint mark ('Mo') appears to the left of the portrait in the inner field. The entire design is framed by an ornate floral-scroll border with a reeded outer rim. |
