| Reverse description | The reverse features a large, densely foliated oak tree in high relief at center, its broad canopy filling the upper field, flanked symmetrically by laurel branches curving upward from a common root at the base. The denomination 25 C. is inscribed to the left and right of the tree trunk within the wreath. Surrounding the central device, a ring of small six-pointed stars separates it from the outer circular legend, which reads DIOS UNION LIBERTAD. at the top and 15 DE SET. 1821 0.900 at the bottom, referencing Honduran independence on 15 September 1821 and the intended silver fineness of 0.900. The rim is defined by a bold milled border in keeping with the pattern's high-quality execution. |
