| Obverse description | Crowned and draped bust of Queen Victoria facing left, engraved by Leonard Charles Wyon in the younger portrait style. The Queen wears an ornate jewelled crown and her hair is arranged in flowing waves gathered into a chignon at the nape, secured with a ribbon bow. The legend VICTORIA QUEEN is arranged around the periphery, with VICTORIA to the left and QUEEN to the right. A fine beaded inner border frames the design against a polished field. |
