Obverse description Central legend reads 'Central Bank of Kuwait' in both Arabic and English, arranged within a circular border. A Quranic verse rendered in flowing circular calligraphic script surrounds the central inscription, reading: 'And they shall say: Praise be to Allah Who has put away all source of grief from us. Surely our Lord is indeed Ever-Forgiving, Ever-Thankful' (Quran 35:34). The overall design emphasises an elegant integration of Arabic calligraphy and bilingual institutional identification within the coin's field.
