Additional information

Kuwait's Liberation Day issues commemorate the 1991 Gulf War coalition offensive that ended seven months of Iraqi occupation. The 25 Dinar denomination places this firmly in the commemorative-only tier — Kuwait's circulating coinage never approached that face value — and the gilt treatment on .999 silver was applied to a small fraction of the total mintage, distinguishing it from the standard silver version sharing the same KM reference.
