Reverse description A dramatic scene depicts the RMS Titanic in its final moments, shown bow-down and stern raised as the vessel sinks beneath the ocean waves. Lifeboats and survivors are visible in the turbulent water in the foreground, while smoke rises from the ship's funnels in the background. The commemorative legend curves along the upper rim, and the dual dates flank the ship's hull. The coin is bordered by a beaded rim.

Additional information

Redonda is an uninhabited Caribbean rock of roughly 1.6 square kilometers with no government, no mint, and no legal tender framework recognized by any international monetary authority. "Kingdom of Redonda" is a literary fiction originating with the writer M.P. Shiel in the late 19th century, perpetuated by a succession of self-appointed monarchs — mostly British authors. Coins issued under its name are novelty items produced by private minting operations, not sovereign currency by any definition.

This piece was made to catch a centenary market, nothing more.
