| Reverse description | The reverse presents a detailed historical battle scene in high relief, depicting a medieval castle under assault on the left, with armoured infantry troops advancing beneath flags including a cross-of-Burgundy standard, and cavalry charging from elevated ground to the upper right. In the lower foreground, artillery crews operate field cannon amid gabions and cannonballs, evoking scenes from Spain's early modern military campaigns. The legend 'HOMENAJE AL EJÉRCITO' is inscribed in large capital letters across the upper field.
