| Obverse description | Printed in purple on paper, the obverse carries a central vignette of a view of Curaçao, set within fine guilloche underprint work typical of Enschedé engraving of the period. The bank title and denomination legend appear in letterpress above and below the central design, with two manuscript signatures of the Secretary and President of De Curaçaosche Bank positioned at lower left and right respectively. |

A block of Dutch-language anti-counterfeiting warning text occupies the centre of the medallion, set in gothic script. The overall design relies entirely on machine-engraved lathe work with no pictorial vignette. |
