Obverse description The national coat of arms of Ukraine — the trident (tризуб) set within a heraldic shield — occupies the centre of the field, flanked symmetrically on either side by a stylised sprig composed of an oak branch below and a wheat ear above. The legend УКРАЇНА arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic script, while the four-digit date 1992 is positioned in the lower exergual area.

Reverse description The denomination numeral 25 is rendered in large, bold characters dominating the upper centre of the field, with the Cyrillic denomination legend КОПІЙОК inscribed in a decorative script below. The entire composition is encircled by an ornamental wreath of flowing vine tendrils bearing clusters of berries, each berry rendered with a central dot, characteristic of the KM#2.2 variety.
