Obverse description Facing bust effigy of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk depicted in his 1920 attire, wearing a traditional karakul hat and jacket with tie, rendered in high relief against a radiate field. The portrait is centrally placed and presented in a three-quarter frontal pose. The circular legend TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ (Republic of Türkiye) runs along the full periphery of the coin in Latin characters.

Reverse description Detailed frontal view of the historical building that hosted the First Grand National Assembly of Turkey in Ankara, rendered in fine relief with arched windows and a low-pitched roof occupying the central field. Above the building, a crescent and star symbol appears within the upper field. The motto HAKİMİYET MİLLETİNDİR arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 25 LIRA is inscribed centrally below the building, flanked on either side by the commemorative dates 23 NİSAN 1920-1970 marking the 50th anniversary of the first assembly session.
