Obverse description Central field features the national emblem of Pakistan: an ornate tughra-style calligraphic device surmounted by a crescent moon and five-pointed star, rendered in high relief. The legend in Urdu (Nastaliq script) reading 'Hukumat-e-Pakistan' (Government of Pakistan) appears to the right, with the corresponding Bengali inscription 'Pakistan Sarkar' to the left. The date in Western Arabic numerals appears in the lower exergue. The coin is encircled by a reeded border.

The design is framed by a reeded border running the full circumference of the coin.
