| Reverse description | The reverse is largely plain, with a central letterpress text block set within a simple rectangular border. The heading CONTRATO de 1.° DE OCTUBRE de 1857 introduces a paragraph in Spanish detailing the right of EL GOBIERNO NACIONAL to demand amortisation of the note at face value plus accrued interest, subject to publication of notice in the official Paraná gazette for fifteen consecutive days and presentation of the note by the bearer within sixty days of the first notice. A circular black official cancellation stamp appears at the centre, accompanied by manuscript notations and endorsements in ink. |
