| Obverse description | The obverse of this Pagaré del Tesoro bears a vignette of a dog's head at the upper left, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. The central text area carries a handwritten date of Bogotá, 1 de febrero de 1905, followed by a declaration in cursive script acknowledging the bearer's entitlement to twenty-five pesos, redeemable at five percent against national revenues per Legislative Decree No. 6 of 1905. The numeral 25 appears within a circular guilloche ornament at the upper right, flanked by the title PAGARÉ DEL TESORO in bold letterpress, with two manuscript signatures below identifying the Minister of the Treasury and the Treasurer General. |
